The past week has been pretty crazy, but it has also been very relaxing. Although my schedule was full, I did allow myself to have some fun at Disneyworld ;). I played at a church in Bakersfield last Wednesday and was very blessed to be there with Holly Starr and crew. It was for a good sized youth group and I was blessed to see them enter into worship with us.
Then on Thursday we flew out bright and early. We had to leave for the airport at 4:30 am. That is what I would call fierce. On Friday we got to sleep in and get ready to play Night of Joy. I met up with my friends Brandon Bee and Gabe Martinez. They were there to play with StompTown Revival. We enjoyed some good conversations over Ghiradelli Mochas. (Way too much chocolate, but it was good!). After talking about music, random thoughts, and where we see the future going, we headed over to the magic kingdom.
This is where we all got soaked, because it decided to downpour on us. I was stuck the rest of the night with a puddle in my boots, but hey, rock n roll right? haha. We played and then got to go on some rides. My favorite that night was splash mountain and space mountain. Both are equally fun in their own ways.
The next day me and my buddy Jeremy went to Hollywood studios. We checked out the American Idol Experience, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and my favorite, The Rockin’ Rollercoaster. It featured music from Aerosmith so you can’t go wrong. Then we met up in the magic kingdom again with everyone and played again. This night went a little smoother. Then we rode some more rides and went to bed. We had to leave for the airport at 415am this time. Luckily I had the middle seat on the plane, which is the best for sleeping right? 🙁
Now, I’m at Hume Lake Camp for the next few days to lead worship for a high school with Holly Starr and band. I’m expecting to see great things happen!
